Hello Street Vendor,

Thank you for your interest in Art On Alberta and in our Last Thursday, annual Art Hop, or annual Tannenbaum Madness events.

Art On Alberta and the Alberta Art District welcomes the participation of all artists and craftspeople that sell art and handmade goods.

A Street Vendor is an individual artist, or craftsperson, who does not use a formal paid Vendor Booth and promotes their work on the street. Formal paid Vendor Booths are used during events such as Art On Alberta’s annual Art Hop, and if you are a Vendor who is interested in acquiring a Vendor Booth at such an event, please contact Art On Alberta for additional information.

Art On Alberta does not promote, register, govern, nor maintain policies, or enforces control upon street-vendors.  

Art On Alberta asks that as a street-vendor you acquire the permission of the business that you wish to locate in front of, and that you move your vehicle (if any) after unloading, that you do not block the sidewalks, that you do not have any open flames or other dangerous products, and that all refuse and material is removed from your area at the end of the day.

It is wise to contact the local business whose area you wish to use early in the day as Last Thursday begins approximately 5:00pm and continues to approximately 9:30pm in the summer months, and with a somewhat shorter period in the winter. Please be aware that the merchants release locations on a first  come first served basis and do not hold or save locations for vendors.

Additionally it is customary to help Art On Alberta continue to promote Last Thursday, and the many other art related events, by a donation of $20 to Art on Alberta for the entire season.

Art On Alberta is a 501 (C) 3 non-profit and all donations represent a tax-deductible contribution. A check or cash payment should be brought or mailed to:
